Yushan's name comes from Qing Dynasty records: its summit, forever snow-capped, appeared from a distance as white as jade — so it was called Jade Mountain. It is Taiwan's highest peak and the tallest mountain in all of Northeast Asia — higher than any summit in Japan or Korea. Yet Yushan's greatness lies not only in altitude, but in the fact that it belongs to the Taiwanese people themselves: no passport needed, no ocean to cross. Every year, thousands of Taiwanese follow the ridgelines worn by those before them, step by step upward, to greet at the summit the first light rising from the Pacific. The Origin family carries Yushan's banner because this is the root of the Ridgeline brand. All twelve families, all the apps, grow from this starting point — just as every ridgeline in Taiwan ultimately extends from this mountain. Walk the ridgeline of life — every high and low is scenery.
